Scaring Up Some Fun With Frankenstein’s Monster

Halloween is just one week away and I’ve been hard at work on my latest creation – a book lover’s Halloween costume inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. This classic horror story gets a modern interpretation with a costume straight out of a mad scientist’s laboratory. Featuring a ragged black denim skirt, a leather jacket and lot of fun Halloween accessories, like this Frankenstein Book Purse by Novel Creations, my Frankenstein costume is perfect for scaring up a night of Halloween fun – whether at a Halloween party, trick or treating, or relaxing at home with some Halloween candy and your favorite horror books!

Frankenstein's Monster

What do you think of my creation, book lovers? What character should I feature next in my series of bookish Halloween costumes? Let me know in the comments! Like what you see?

I’ll be back later in the week with more literary Halloween costume ideas but until then, take care and happy reading!

P. S. – Don’t miss the encore showing of the amazing production of Frankenstein starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller. The show will be playing at many local movie theaters tomorrow, October 25th. Rob and I saw it the first time it played and were utterly blown away! You can check out my review of the show here or  get tickets here.
