Happy Book Lovers Day!

When I head that today was National Book Lovers Day, I got really excited. Although, I like to celebrate my love of books and reading every day, I definitely loved the sound of a specific day being set aside for me and my fellow bibliophiles and I thought that today would be the perfect day to share a few of my favorite bookish things. The only problem is that I found too many wonderful things for book lovers to narrow it down to just a few and the post kept getting longer and longer so I’ve decided to break it into two parts. This post will focus on great bookish gifts for book lovers and cool things you can use to show off your great taste in books and literature, while Part 2 will focus on fun things to do to celebrate Book Lovers Day.

Enjoy!

Give your space some bookish flair with literary prints, and posters.

I am a big believer in filling up my personal space with the things I love. Back when I was 12 years old, that meant a ton of unicorn posters and figurines, (So… many… unicorns), but now it means lots and lots (and lots) of books.  And I love to decorate the few remaining walls that aren’t covered with bookshelves with literary art and bookish prints and posters, like this poster of a book about a unicorn  (old habits die hard ) and these:

Perfect Your Reading Space

Of course, the best way to enjoy Book Lovers Day is to relax with a good book so today is a great day to show your favorite reading spot a little love.  If you’re the type of reader who loves relaxing in a warm bubble bath, I recommend getting this beautiful bathing board from the By Grace I Create Etsy shop to hold your book, a glass of wine and a couple of candles.
