Frequently Asked Questions About Our Company

a name=”top”>Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about our company.  If you have a question that is not covered here, you can:

Q: What does the C. S. in C. S. Literary Jewelry stand for?
A: “C. S.” stands for Ciarrai Studios which was our original shop name. Ciarrai is the Gaelic spelling of
Kerry’s name. We chose this name as an homage to her grandfather, John O’Shea, who (as the son of
Irish immigrants) shared a love of all things Celtic with her. Eventually, we shortened the name to make
it easier for our customers but we kept the initials in honor of him and as a nod to our shop’s early
history.

Q: Who do you make your jewelry for?
A: Our audience is anyone who loves books, reading, and the written word as much as we do. Our
handmade jewelry makes wonderful gifts for book lovers, bookworm and bibliophiles, readers, teachers,
and librarians, English majors and lit geeks, theatre lovers and drama fans, writers, poets and poetry
lovers, dreamers and romantics.

Basically, in the words of one of our favorite poets, Shel Silverstein:

“If you are a dreamer, come in
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar
A hoper, a pray-er, a magic-bean-buyer
If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax golden tales to spin
Come in!
Come in!”
